This worked wonderfully, tried it out first while in the tub, lol. I like that you remove the air and wait to make sure it is completely sealed, it is a confirmation that water will NOT be seeping in and ruining my electronics.

Does What It Should - I Love It

I originally had no interest in the iPad. But after ruining two MacBook keyboards while using them while I was in my jacuzzi, I was excited to see this case and a use for the iPad. I bought this case and an iPad 2. My MacBook is safe and I can now review documents, surf the web and respond to email while sitting in the jacuzzi or bath tub. I love the iPad 2 and this Dry Case.
Some of the criticisms about it being a bit difficult to get the iPad out of the case are true, but it doesn't take more than 10 or 15 seconds. And the fact that there are a few bubbles in between the screen and the case does not bother me or impair my ability to enjoy using it for hours.
I find that is best to remove about 90 percent of the air. This is the only waterproof iPad case I have used and I am very happy with it. It does what it should... enables you to use your iPad in and even underwater.
PROS. Good workmanship. Double protection from sealed top and vacuum seal. Easy to use headphones with it. It is flexible enough to work with other devises such as a Kindle or any version of the iPad. Unlike a lot of cases, this one will probably be used on many future generations of the iPad. Very fair price for the job it does.
CONS. No major issues. Minor issue of takes a little patience to remove it from the case. Air bubbles make it a tiny bit less responsive (but still VERY usable).

Trustworthy Case!

We bought this to protect our iPad when we use it as a chart plotter while sailing. This case kept the iPad dry even during an unexpectedly wet dingy ride! I'm so happy that this case proved itself completely waterproof ... Very satisfying.

This case is great for camping, going to the beach and boating. The case keeps the iPad dry and allows me to easily connect the audio to my boat's stereo system. I can read books when relaxing at the beach without worrying about sand, rain or sea water. If you love your iPad like I do, you will want to protect it with this case! I don't leave my iPad at home or in the car any more.
